It is necessary today to provide a context for the overwhelming global changes sweeping the world today. But how do we explain these rapid changes to our students and how can we intelligently include these very important topics in our curriculum? This thought-provoking workshop, especially designed for educators, helps sort out the broad sweep of life-altering global changes transforming our world today that are influencing every aspect of our daily lives. Using a systems approach, we carefully examine critical issues such as the economic crisis, the environment, and our relationship with the world in a balanced, clear manner. We spend considerable time developing imaginative and practical methods for implementing these new concepts into our classrooms.
