We are confronted with overwhelming changes brought about by globalization and in particular economic globalization, both in our classroom and in our daily lives.  After an overview of economic globalization and its historical roots, we take a look at, from a systems perspective, viable alternatives to economic globalization that can help create a more just and sustainable future.  We engage in a lively discussion about these alternatives. If an educator, we conclude with offering practical strategies about how to incorporate these new ideas into our classroom.
